Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council Notice of Funding Opportunity

The Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority is requesting proposals for grants funding local Illinois Family Violence Coordinating Council (IFVCC). Grants will be made with IFVCC state fiscal year 2020 funds. A total of $435,000 in funding is available through this solicitation for use over a period of 12 months.

Eligibility Information

Agencies must be pre-qualified through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) Grantee Portal, https://grants.illinois.gov/portal/, to become eligible to apply for an award. Applicants must have completed the GATA pre-qualification process and received approval of their Internal Control Questionnaire (ICQ) by the period of performance start date of July 01, 2019 to be considered for funding.

This solicitation is open to public and not-for profit entities in Illinois. Advocacy agencies are not eligible to apply due to judicial ethic rules.

Completed application materials must be emailed to CJA.IFVCC.NOFO@Illinois.gov by 11:59 p.m., April 5, 2019, to be considered for funding. Proposals will not be accepted by mail, fax, or in-person. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Late submissions will not be reviewed.

Available Funds

Grants available through this funding opportunity are a portion of state fiscal year 2020 funds. A minimum of $435,000 dollars will be made available through this funding opportunity.

Period of Performance

Funding is available for the period of July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020. Based on program performance and fund availability, ICJIA may recommend allocation of funding to support an additional 24 months.

Reporting

Recipients must submit quarterly financial reports, quarterly progress reports, final financial and progress reports, and, if applicable, an annual audit report in accordance with the CFR Part 200 Uniform Requirements. Future awards and fund drawdowns may be withheld if reports are delinquent.
